Child Safeguarding
As with all schools, we operate under the DES Child Safeguarding Procedures and we place student welfare and wellbeing at the centre of our work.
The school's Board of Management has adopted, without amendment, the DES Child Safeguarding Procedures.
The documents below are important and enable us to ensure that student welfare is prioritised and issues / concerns arising are dealt with appropriately.
The Board of Management has appointed the Principal (Mr. E. Gaughran) as the Designated Liaison Person (D.L.P.) and the Deputy Principal (Mr. A. O'Suilleabháin) as the Deputy Designated Liaison Person (D.D.L.P.) in respect of Child Safeguarding.

The Principal submits a Child Safeguarding Oversight Report to each Board of Management meeting.
An Annual Review of the Implementation of these procedures takes place.
The Board, also, conducts an Annual Review of our Student Anti Bullying procedures and their implementation.
