Happy New Year to all members of the school community.
With the school reopening tomorrow, please remember the key elements of our Covid 19 Response: Masks should be worn indoors at all times; Hand sanitising should be regular and thorough and social distancing should be maintained.
We engage in a thorough clean of the school daily and use both CO2 monitors and a HEPA Filter as appropriate.
Visitors to the school are kept to a minimum and all visits by parents / guardians are by prior appointment and approval by the Principal.
It is inevitable that some teachers may be absent - those who are unwell will stay at home. Those who are well but restricting their movements will engage remotely with their classes, as appropriate.
Schools have some discretion to leave class / year groups at home. It is our wish not to have to do this. Where it is necessary, parents / guardians and students are asked to understand that this will only be done on health and safety grounds and as a last resort.
Over the past two years, we have risen to the many challenges of Covid 19 and kept disruption to school life and all of its associated benefits to a minimum.
As always, we are approaching the New Year with enthusiasm and confidence that we will continue to do our very best for the school community.
Many thanks for your continuous and ongoing support.
E. Gaughran, Principal.
