I hope that you are well and that you have had a few days rest over the weekend.
Next Steps for 6th Years:
Look ahead with optimism.
Put away your school books.
Prepare the next stage of your life - work, college, etc. In doing so, prepare a CV and / or Review your PLC / CAO Applications. Don't change your preferences in a panic or alone. Get advice from your parents / guardians, guidance counsellor or Principal.
Await the Results that you will receive in August / September.
Exercise...rest....enjoy life....save money if you are able to work..
It is possible that a small number of you may choose to sit the LC later in the year. At the moment, it would be wise to put away the books. If it arises that you wish to sit the LC, we will advise and support you at that time.
Next Steps for the School:
Teachers have started to engage with the Calculated Grades Process.
They will submit their Proposed Calculated Grades to the Principal.
When reviewed and signed off on, the Proposed Calculated Grades will be forwarded to the DES.
We will await the results in August / September.
We are very confident that the work you have put in will be rewarded and that the results you will receive will be very fair and a true reflection of your ability and effort.
