Today, June 27th, was the final day of the Leaving Cert. Exams in our school. Well done to all 6th Years and all 3rd Years, who finished their Junior Cert. exams last Monday, June 20th.
Plans are continuing to have our 1st Year ASD Class up and running on August 25th next. A classroom has been converted for use by the students, teachers and SNAs involved.
A temporary ASD Classroom building should be in situ by the end of the year.
Planning for our new and permanent 2 Base SEN Classroom and associated soft play, kitchen and toilet facilities, a new Music Room, a new Science Room and a Multi Media Room is well underway and, hopefully, within two years, we will have full use of these rooms / buildings.
We hope to open a second ASD 1st Year ASD Class in September 2023.
Our Incoming 1st Years will join us on Monday, August 22nd - P.E. Uniform to be worn.
Our teaching staff will return on Wednesday, August 24th.
ALL students will return to school on Thursday, August 25th.
Leaving Cert. Results will be issued on Friday, September 2nd. We are confident that the students will do very well and will achieve the results they need to progress to the next stage of adulthood, apprenticeship, further education, higher education or the world of work.
