Information about School Reopening 28th August 2020

Please note that we are looking forward to reopening to students on August 28th.

All students should return to school in full uniform on Friday morning next - there will be meetings for each year group at 8.55 a.m. Students should plan to arrive in school between 8.40 and 8.55 a.m. They will be in school until 1.20 p.m.

Please ensure that each student has a face mask / covering and a personal bottle of hand sanitiser with them in school each day. There will be a sanitiser unit in every classroom too.

Students will be expected to wear a mask / face covering on corridors and at break and lunch times and when moving freely within the school buildings. They will be directed to wear a mask / face covering in all classes with 20 persons or more present and, at other times, as appropriate. They may choose to wear a mask at all times, if they wish.

Students will be advised of the importance of hand cleaning / sanitising; mask wearing and social distancing.

Access to the school building will be limited to students and staff only. Parental visits will be by appointment only.

There may be other arrangements required. These will be explained to students on their return.

We will work with students, parents / guardians and staff to make the resumption of teaching and learning as safe and effective as possible.

We will put a plan in place with each student who cannot return to school. If your son / daughter is in the High Risk category, please contact the Year Head through email or by phoning the school office.

School contributions and Transition Years fees should be paid to the school office. If you can do so, please pay this week by calling into the school office between Monday and Thursday or through your child on Friday morning. Please put the fee(s) in an envelope with the student's name on the outside and ask your son / daughter to give it to his / her Year Head.

Please feel free to contact the school by email if you have any queries / suggestions that will help us all negotiate our way through this pandemic. It is our intention to be as safe as possible and to be as practical as we can be.

Thanks for your continued support.
