To all members of the school community, please see the message below from the HSE:
A confirmed case of Covid 19 has been notified to the school by the HSE this evening. A public health risk assessment has taken place. The parents / guardians of those children deemed to have been a close contact of the confirmed case have been notified this evening. Those students will be notified to attend for HSE Testing in the next 48 hours - the HSE will contact parents / guardians directly with the arrangements.
If your child has not been deemed a close contact, he / she is not required to attend for testing and can continue to attend school at this time.
If your child develops any symptoms suggestive of Covid 19 infection (such as a cough, a fever, loss or change in sense of taste or smell), please do not send your child to school, contact your GP and restrict his / her movements, as per public health advice. Restricted movements means avoiding contact with other people and social situations as much as possible. It is sometimes called self-quarantine.
No staff members have been identified as close contacts.
